Cambodian Sisters GREAT ESCAPE
What would you do if you knew a child was being raped and tortured right next door to you? Would you help or would your turn a blind eye? This piece asks the viewer if you saw these children escaping for their freedom in the earlier hours, would you turn them in or let them in? Human trafficking is modern day slavery and goes on right in front of our faces. In this piece you can see other examples of children being abused and looking for help. I chose to keep the piece in black and white to capture that moment in time where your eyes lock and connect to the characters.
